Folk Night happens every Wednesday night at the SHIP PUB on Solomon's Lane (265 Duckworth). The music goes from 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm and features two sets by a solo performer or group. During the break amateurs and professionals from the audience get up on stage to play tunes, sing songs, recite or contribute in their own unique way. The crowd is usually loaded (with musicians) and the entertainment is consistently good. There is also the opportunity to win door prizes including CDs, T-shirts, books and concert tickets!
If you are interested in performing, volunteering on the door or hosting, or have suggestions or feedback please contact us at folknight@nlfolk.com.
