The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Arts Society is thrilled to present An Evening with Arlo Guthrie in partnership with the Arts and Culture Centre (ACC). This will be Arlo Guthrie's first-ever performance in Newfoundland, a place that he has long wanted to visit.

Besides the Annual Folk Festival and weekly folk night, the FAS presents other events including the Christmas Carol Wassail and numerous concerts.
Past workshops have highlighted the cultural heritage of the Province exploring several Newfoundland traditions including songs, set dancing, mat hooking, mummering and the playing of a wide variety of musical intruments. Young Folk at the Hall, a young people's workshop and concert, has been offered annually since 2002 ( for details on concerts in recent years, see below).
